The Jogathon is an annual event The Parent Group (TPG) organizes to raise money in support of the goals of The Child's Primary School, a non-profit private K-8 school in the Clairemont neighborhood of San Diego. The money that is raised through the Jogathon and Auction provides financial aid to families that could not otherwise afford private school for their children. To raise money, students collect pledges for the laps they run, and attendees bid on the Silent and Live Auction items. Along with the Jogathon and Auctions, there is food, friends, and family; it is great fun for everyone involved.
