Other places you can look for science news include newspapers and magazines. Your local library often has print magazines and newspapers you can photocopy.
You can also use Google or other internet search engines. Try searching for the science topic you are studying and adding the word “news”. For example: geology news
Make sure you search with a parent who can help you evaluate the articles you find to determine if they are suitable for your report.
Finally, our local libraries often provide at home access to databases for library cardholders. These databases often have articles from newpapers, magazines, and other publications on a wide variety of topics, including science. Explore your library’s database page and see if they have a science database that includes current news articles, it might be fun to try it out!
